[Yes, this is my registry post, but neh] BlackHeart stepped lightly through the Graveyard, Moonlight outlining the jet black coat in soft silver light. Her mane swirled as the wind picked up, but never getting tangled, just blowing in the gust. The Gravestones were gray and aged, but inscriptions could still be read through the Unicorn's sharp eyesight.
Nightmare Unicorn Foal Dead on Arrival to BlackHeart
The words filled her heart with woe, as they had done every night for the last week, her Foal had been born dead and she knew she wouldn't ever forget him. She blamed a spirit. He had told her that berries on the far side of the world would strengthen her Foal, make him healthy and eliminate birthing difficulties. Foolish as she was, BlackHeart had follow the Spirit's advice, and it had killed her Son. BlackHeart was bitter over her loss, and she mourned. Her proud head dropped and if a Unicorn could weep she would of. It seemed like nobody was around, but there was sometimes a cracking of twigs behind her, but when she looked, there was nobody there.

I am not one of thoose to mourn the dead however something about the graveyard calls me, although i am not the undead i feel the graveyard as a second home as far as homes are concerned, i struggle to stay in one place for a long while, Griffins are highly irritable animals and get annoyed at thoose lesser creatures who think themselves as better. Back limps prowled around whilst my front talons softly outstretch to gain ground, at one time outstretching to curl over the graveyard wall to easily lift my huge body over, a landed with a light thump but i wasn't really trying to hide from anyone so that didn't matter too much, from my current position i could make the faint outline of a dark stained unicorn, not being my threat i advanced towards a small cross, glaring at the words on it Gone but never forgotten...eh?....whatever you say i proudly growled at it, stupid humans had never understood there was immortal creatures.

BlackHeart swiveled her fine head around in mild surprise as her velvet ears picked up a scuffled thump behind her, acute eyesight could pick out the shape of the beast quite clearly despite the lack of light. The creature had a strong, pointed beak at the front of the strong skull, the forelegs were black as night with the pads of a lion. Large wings flexed, rippling with muscle and centuries of experience. The proud black mare had nothing against Griffons, she had a certain amount of respect for them, but she could never deal with their incredible arrogance each one posessed. Of course, this would by no means stop her from being polite. BlackHeart lowered her head in that bow of the unicorn, but feeling bitter as she did. Griffons sometimes carried off young foals if they were hungry enough, another reason why she was not particulary fond of them.

My eyes traced the unicorn, head held high as she bowed her crania, in a mark of respect i rose my right talon and dropped my head, eyes staying fixed on her all the time, crania was tossed up quickily after, lion's limbs slinking across the ground as i used my talons to jump most of the graves under i was facing the unicorn, still a fair distance away but now face to face. Strong neck holding my heavy crania high as i stretched my front limps giving me more height above her, not realy to threaten her but just because i can and i will, Female griffins were equally as bad as males if not worse but like mares they were so fucking stubborn, one minute they'd happily live in your terrian the next they'd try to kill you. I blinked at her, black plummage glittering in the cool moonlight, this moonlight which made silver patters on the griffin's great feathers, it made me look mysterious, maybe some what scarey to some one who had never aproached a griffin of my kind before, my grand wings wrapped my body to stop anything attacking from the back, my beak parted for a few short, sharp seconds. You are? his tone was smug and to be honest quite rude but he didn't give a damn.

The arrogant creature flexed his wings as he beat a steady rythm into the still night, talons gripping at nothing as he rose gracefully above her. BlackHeart wore a look of mild amusement as the Griffon soared, obviously trying to intimidate her. A unicorn may have the body of a mere equine, but they have the wisdom of the Phoenix, the strength of the Hypogriff and the grim determination of the hardy Fawn. Most ignorant creatures knew nothing of the mind and body of a Unicorn, and seemed to think of them as petty little ponies from a child's fairy tale. When of course, this was far from the truth.
I go by the name of BlackHeart. The coal black mare spoke suspiciously, knowing that at any moment the Griffon could swoop down and cause her injury with the strong beak, but her horn was as sharp as a thousand daggers, her hooves as hard as diamond, she could put up a good fight if needed. And what do they call you? This time there was a tinge of sarcasm to her tone, as BlackHeart thought to herself, Arrogant bastard.

Of course, still in theese new days it was a terrible crime to slay a unicorn but that wasn't to say i wouldn't not kill one if it threatened my authority, as my father taught me, one day he had returned home with the silver bloodied body hanging from his talons and told me his words of wisdom. If i hadn't been so downright bored i would of proberly attacked at this point but why kill the only object of amusement while you have it here, partly scared, partly stubborn infront of you in all its beauty. I am Flashback a grin would of peirced his bird features if he hadn't of been a griffin, but today he simple stared, looking smug as ever with his wings shadowing most of his body. Yea sure a unicorn was all of that but a Griffin had the strength of a thousand lions and eagles, the size of a 17.4hh horse plus, the pride and detirmination of a single lioness hunting for her master. What might you be doing here? his voice crunched with dry sarcasm.
